WE HAD QUITE A SHAKE THIS WEEK!!!
As Tim and I were talking, the house began to shake. From time to time that is normal for here, but this time it really shook. We ran for cover under a door post. On both sides of us, parts of the walls were falling down. As soon as the earthquake was over, we went running to find Andy, Susi, and Pati. They were all safe.
We are thankful that no one was hurt. As you have probably heard there was a lot of damage to our area in Mexico. School has been out since Tuesday, the day of the earthquake. All of our students at the Carey Brenton filed out of classes safely. As of today Saturday, we are still feeling the tremors of the earthquake while the ground settles.
Tim, Ben, the youth, and some volunteers have been helping some of the earthquake victims. (See the pictures).
Many people live in fear because of the earthquake and continuing tremors. One lady was sharing that she is nervous and can't sleep. It has been a great opportunity to help people and share God's love. People are afraid and more open. Please pray for this area. There are a lot of spiritual and physical needs.
